You have a very unique perspective of what it is like to be hungover, and you have the way of showing it in the abstract way. It has taken me over the line to imagine what it is like to be hungover, and your Hangover seems to tell me that the hungover has a deathly feeling to it when you wake up in the morning.
It's unique to see the way how you connect the hand to the head, all three eyes in different spots, and how you connect everything together.
Keep up with fantastic and amazing work!

Thanks for the links! I share the connection that some cultures have with death. It's an important part of life, something that our consumer culture has pushed to the periphery.
The title of this piece could change... I just thought it looked like a headache...
Thanks for the comments!
The title of this piece may change... I just thought 'hangover' would be a funny title.
Does this piece make you think of Day of the Dead?(I wish we celebrated that here in North America...)
Thanks for the fav, MADman! I was going to paint the background a dark maroon-red; then I went down through the list in the layer and hit Difference and this icky blue-green color came up. It is pretty cool, if I do say so myself!
Thanks for scanning the sketch for me!
I think I like the second title better because it has made more sense as fitting to the piece. At first, I thought this piece is related to 'hangover' which made sense in first place by seeing the 'drunk' trying to hold his head up and feels like dead at same time.
Now you have mentioned your second title, yeah, it has made me think of the Day of the Dead. Your piece and your saying has made me wish that we would celebrate the Day of Dead as well. You know what? We should start it here then.

Now it's time for August 2008 Visual Art Features, many new art to discover!
Don't forget that many artists need to be viewed, they deserve it! Fave Fave Fave! My main purpose in doing a monthly feature about (to my point of view) 'the best visual art' is to put in the same level as well wellknown artists and popular creations as unknown artists and under-exposed creations. Artists need to be supported. So don't be shy!
Here's the Menu per Category :
Digital Paintings & Drawings | Mixed Media | PhotoManipulations | 3-Dimensional | Vector & Vexels | Photography | Traditional Paintings & Drawings | Artisan Crafts
