I'm pretty new to the digital medium. Deviant artist, MAD-Uninc, has taught me much of what I know about photoshop. Mostly, I'm just playin around. Fun, though!
I think that's where good talent is finely honed, having fun. When art becomes work, it become tedious and that always comes through the work. Having fun should be of the utmost importance, and getting paid to have fun should be the greatest consideration.

This imagery is one of my favorite subjects. The eye in the hand. I have always wanted a tattoo of an eye on my palm so I could pretend to read the minds of those i shake hands with. First saw this type of imagery in the movie "Sodom and Gamorrah" I believe, a scene where witches, priestesses or prostitutes had eyes painted on their palms and eyelids. It freaked me out when I was a kid, but it never let go. I have used it once in a painting a couple year ago, but i never stop thinking about EYES ON HANDS!
To me this is pretty, glassy, and menacing. Im sure this imagery has many meanings over the world, but it has a special one for me. Great job!
I'm really glad you like this piece! It's not original, but I also love it. It's an ancient Jewish symbol for protection from the 'evil eye'... Everyone needs protection from the evil eye!

This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
