acrylic and charcoal on canvas 2007 ~Blocked~ Mind full of colour and creative ideas thoughts that are overflowing brain trying to escape through all of the fears in to the brick wall are bowling. We scream ‘til we are really blue in the face trapped and waiting for deliverance but when we awake there’ll be not a trace except for the fear of recurrence. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes. I suppose, for all intents and purposes, I am a colorist. I am always looking for balance in color; either for harmony, or discord. In this case, I was going for discord, and drama. I'm glad you picked up on that.
