Awesome! I see nature...ocean shore, rocks, big waves at dusk. Most people couldn't use so much colour without making it look like clown barf. Beautiful piece.

Thanks, MADman! I'm pretty happy with this one. I tried to find a picture in it. I looked at it for days and days, and then finally decided that I liked it well enough as is.

Clown barf... that's funny!

How pretty! I love when the medium itself becomes the subject matter; it's fun to get lost in all those neat colors and textures. :+fav:

Yes, I've really been having a great time with the medium, lately. I love painting again. It doesn't feel like work anymore. I must admit that I was thinking about it too hard for too long. I'm really enjoying painting again. I'm glad it shows.
I'm happy with this one. Thanks!

There is, in there, whatever you see. This is an open playing field where the viewer is the subject. Play away!

Can you say Burd Art kids. You cant fool me Dawno. Mad is right though, it doesn't look like clown barf. It looks like a volcanic undersea experience.

I'm really diggin the burd these days. I'm having fun with paint again. I get into the groove and I can paint and play for hours. Before, searching for subject matter and fighting with form and perspective, it was really more like work. I'll do it again, for sure, but for now, I'll use the excuse that I'm experimenting with the medium in order to control my use of it. So it won't look like clown barf. Hehehe!

I tried painting with some charcoal after accidentally turning a stick into powder by stepping on it. Didn't turn out too well... the first blew away when I tried to fixate it (was too tired to think about that), and the rest turned into a dull mess when I mixed it with paint. And after that my experiments ceased, since I figured the last stick could be useful for sketching until I could buy some more, so I didn't get as far as pouring it onto wet paint. Maybe later. :)
